Session Two: William Dawson, Up Close.
Milton Randolph, the nephew of William Levi Dawson, talks about Dawson as the "brother, the helping hand, the teacher, the husband, the uncle, . . . And the beloved friend that will be eternally missed." He shares some of Dawson's biography with the audience, including that Dawson supported his siblings through college; that Dawson taught himself German, French, Spanish, and Italian; and that while driving, Dawson would sometimes compose music and score it on paper on a clipboard against the steering wheel.
