Session Five: The Intersection of Concert and Vernacular Traditions.

Composer and musician Oliver Lake of the World Saxophone Quartet, remembers his experiences in an earlier musical ensemble in St. Louis, the Black Artist Group (1968-1972) and the effect that group has had on his career. He also speaks about his label, Passing Through.
