MARBL will provide copies of microfilm for collections it holds to encourage the use of these materials by researchers. These copies are provided for use only in research and private study. MARBL will not provide printouts from microfilm. Permission to reproduce does not constitute permission to publish. There is a separate procedure for requesting permission to publish, quote, broadcast, perform, or exhibit. MARBL abides by U.S. Copyright Law.
MARBL does not provide copies of microfilm it has purchased or received from another institution. Copies should be purchased from the institution that holds the master copies of the film or the original materials.
Information about fees is included on the form and on the fee schedule. Payment is required in advance.
Researchers are required to complete the following form to request copies of microfilm reels. Forms should be returned to MARBL by fax or post.

Microfilm duplication requests will be completed in the order in which they are received and approved. Orders are typically filled in 3 weeks. All orders sent to an address outside of the United States will be shipped using Federal Express.
Please note that most microfilm reels may be borrowed through interlibrary loan.
